It seems the area mapped for the grounds is incorrect. The tennis courts to the south are not part of the school and are in fact Lansdown Tennis Club.

I think you'll find it's two courses of pitch and putt; one 12 hole and one 18 hole. You've obviously never been here let alone played golf here.

That's only one side of the argument. The Rugby Club brings a lot of benefit to the City and is very well supported. it is by far and away the most popular sporting activity on the Rec and has been there for very many years.
